Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit, an Indian actress known for her work in the film Hum Aapke Hai Koun (Beta Saajan) and Beta Saajan is one of the most adored Indian actors. In the 80s, she made her debut in acting and became popular with the role of Tezaab where she starred alongside the veteran actor Anil Kapooor. In her next film Dil, Aamir Khan appeared as well. She was born into a middle-class household in Mumbai she began learning to dance at an early age. While she was young began acting, but was not successful as a lot films she made were unpopular. Her breakthrough came when she finally had success and went on to be one of the most well-known actors in the Indian film business. After marriage, she had an absence from work before returning to entertainment. She was a key character on Gulaab Gang, a film which explores women's struggles within India. Dixit was nominated in fifteen Filmfare Awards. Of these the awards she's won 8. Dixit was also awarded the Padma Shri the fourth highest civilian award in India. Her charitable work is well-known.
